The director of Erbil International Airport, Ahmed Hoshyar, announced today, Tuesday, the temporary suspension of flights to and from the airport.
Hoshyar told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “Flights to and from Erbil Airport have been temporarily suspended due to a wave of attacks targeting the city of Erbil and its airspace.”
“Flights will resume as soon as the security situation stabilizes and returns to normal,” Hoshyar added.
