PM Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met on Monday with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq, discussing the ongoing preparations for the Prime Minister’s official visit to Tehran at the end of this week.

The meeting discussed ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries and enhance cooperation across various fields in a manner that serves the mutual interests of the two friendly peoples and contributes to regional security and stability, according to a statement from the PM Media Office, received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

They reviewed the ongoing preparations for the Prime Minister’s official visit to Tehran at the end of this week, including the agenda and key issues to be discussed, to advance bilateral cooperation and expand the horizons of partnership and coordination between the two countries on matters of mutual interest.
