Health inspectors in Iraq's eastern Diyalaprovince blocked an attempt to bring 127,000 smuggled medicines into theprovince, the Health Directorate said on Monday.
The shipment was seized from a vehicle afterinspectors found it in breach of storage and transport requirements and withoutofficial testing or regulatory clearance.
The directorate did not specify the origin ofthe shipment.
