The Ministry of Transport announced today, Saturday, the arrival of the second shipment of ground equipment for Nasiriyah International Airport.
Airport Director Ali Al-Gharabi stated, according to a ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "this new shipment of equipment is part of a series of deliveries to equip the airport with the necessary operational vehicles and equipment to serve aircraft and passengers after the completion of its construction phases."
He added that "the arriving equipment is an essential part of the airport's operational infrastructure requirements and will enhance its future operational readiness, providing technical and ground support services in accordance with the standards adopted for operating international airports."
