The Media Directorate in Homs announced on Wednesday that Iraqi oil tankers have been permitted to resume operations after completing paperwork.

"After completing the missing paperwork and submitting it to the Syrian Petroleum Company, Iraqi oil tankers were permitted to continue their journeys and proceed to their final destinations, following the fulfillment of all necessary administrative procedures and requirements," said the Directorate in a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The statement added, "This step comes after the required documents were completed according to regulations, ensuring the smooth flow of tanker traffic and the continuation of oil transport operations in accordance with established systems and procedures."
