U.S. Central Command: We have resumed the maritime blockade on Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Tuesday that it had resumed the maritime blockade on Iran.

In a statement, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), CENTCOM said: "We have resumed the maritime blockade on Iran."

It added that more than 20 U.S. warships and hundreds of military aircraft have been deployed across the Middle East, stressing that "our forces are capable of delivering devastating strikes and remain at a high state of readiness."
