The U.S. military said on Monday it had begun a fresh wave of strikes against Iran for the third consecutive night.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a statement that the strikes were launched on the orders of President Donald Trump.
It said the operations would continue to inflict heavy losses on Iranian forces and degrade their capability to attack shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.
