Trump threatens to hit Iran ‘very hard’
US President Donald Trump accused Iran on Monday of violating the interim agreement between the countries and vowed to retaliate, calling them “a bad group of people”.
“It was a done deal and then they broke it. They always break it. We’ve had ten deals with these people - and so we’re just going to hit them very hard,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News.
This comes amid renewed tensions between the countries which Iran has said the US was responsible for, and pledged not to comply with the truce if the US continued to violate its end of the agreement.
