Dozens of explosions heard in Iranian cities

Iran’s state broadcaster, IRIB, reported that at least 12 explosions have been heard in different parts of Bushehr, including five in the port city of Bandar-e Deyr, four in Asaluyeh and three in the city of Bushehr.

Ehsan Jahanian, Bushehr province’s deputy governor for political, security and social affairs, says no casualties have been reported so far, according to Al Jazeera.

Student News Network TV, an Iranian news agency, citing an IRIB reporter, said military barracks in the Risheh neighbourhood of Bushehr were hit and that blasts were also reported in the city of Kangan.

The reporter said a military post was also attacked in Bandar-e Deyr, Al Jazeera reported.

The IRNA news agency says more than 10 explosions have been heard in the port city of Jask in the southern Hormozgan province.
