FIFA has announced a new investment opportunity in the sports memorabilia market, offering pieces of the pitch from the New Jersey stadium that will host the 2026 World Cup final for sale through its official store. This move could generate revenues exceeding $11.2 million.

The New York Times reported that prices for these items start at $450 each, with shipping to buyers scheduled after the final match on July 19, 2026. Currently, shipping is limited to the United States, the United Kingdom, and several European countries.

The newspaper explained that each item contains a preserved section of the pitch inside an acrylic and resin mold designed to protect the grass. It features the 2026 World Cup logo, the stadium name, the date and result of the final match, and includes a USB drive with a film documenting the item's authenticity.

The partner manufacturing these memorabilia also showcased three additional versions priced at $900, $1,200, and $3,000, differing in the size of the grass and accompanying accessories. Production of each price range is limited to 2,026 pieces, bringing the total to 8,104 pieces across four ranges. If sold out, sales are projected to exceed $11.2 million.

The dimensions of the first three ranges are 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 inches, while the $3,000 Hero Edition includes a larger 3 x 3 x 3-inch grass piece, a gold-plated metal commemorative ticket, a miniature replica of the final match ball, and a glass replica of the World Cup trophy.
