New director appointed to lead Nineveh security service

Baghdad issued “high-level directives” appointing Colonel Muhammadal-Saffar to head the National Security Service in Nineveh, replacing BrigadierFalah Hassan, a security source in Nineveh confirmed to Shafaq News.

The directives reassigned Hassan to new responsibilities at the NationalSecurity Service headquarters in Baghdad.
