Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf asserted on Friday that the US, Israel, and NATO believed they could force Iran to surrender, emphasizing that ending the war is a priority for the world.
"Before the last war, the US, Israel, and NATO imagined they could force Iran to surrender within days. They quickly realized they would not achieve their objectives, and the world witnessed their failure against Iran,” Ghalibaf stated in a press conference.
Ghalibaf added, "I made it clear to the US Vice President during the negotiations that we do not trust you at all," stressing, "We have never ceased preparing to defend our country, and at any moment the Americans betray the agreement, we are ready for a comprehensive defense."
"Ending the war is a priority for the world, but everyone must understand that this conflict will never end with Iran's surrender," he highlighted.
