Speaker of Parliament Haybat al-Halbousi discussed bilateral relations, regional and international developments with his UAE counterpart, Saqr Ghobash, on Thursday.
"Al-Halbousi received a phone call on Thursday from the Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, Saqr Ghobash," said the Speaker's media office in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
During the call, “bilateral relations and ways to enhance parliamentary cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries" were discussed.
The two sides also handled "regional and international developments and a number of issues of common interest."
