NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said on Wednesday that Iran is violating the ceasefire through its attacks on commercial vessels.
In remarks, Rutte said that "U.S. strikes on Iran were necessary, as Iran violated the ceasefire by attacking commercial ships, making the American response important."
He added: "I expect allies at today's NATO summit to reaffirm the necessity of ensuring that Iran never possesses a nuclear capability."
