The Ministry of Transport announced on Monday that it has allocated 400 buses and 6 trains to transport participants in the funeral procession of the martyr Sayyid Khamenei.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the General Company for Passenger and Delegation Transport has allocated 400 buses to participate in transporting citizens who will participate in the funeral ceremonies of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, the martyr Ali Khamenei (may God sanctify his soul)."
It added, "Three trains have been allocated through the General Company for Railways departing from Baghdad towards Karbala, and three others departing from Basra to Karbala as well, with the possibility of increasing them, and they operate on a round-trip system."
The ministry urged "all participants to maintain order, avoid crowding, and coordinate with the relevant sectoral authorities regarding the private transport file."
It confirmed that "the garages in the capital and the governorates are continuing to operate and there is a high level of organization during the day of the event and afterwards."
