The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Extraction Affairs, Naseer Aziz, met on Monday with Dunia Chalabi, the Director of TotalEnergies in Iraq, to discuss the implementation of the Integrated Gas Development Project at the (Artawi) oil field.

According to a statement issued by the Undersecretary’s office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the meeting was attended by the Director General of the Basra Oil Company, Bassem Abdul Karim.

The statement added that the meeting reviewed the prospects for joint cooperation between the Ministry of Oil and TotalEnergies. The Undersecretary received a briefing from Chalabi on the execution plans for the Integrated Gas Development Project at the Artawi field, the completion rates achieved across various work phases, and the project's specialized technical and operational plans.
