Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan affirmed on Saturday that any solution that does not involve the countries of the region will not be lasting, stressing that his country supports all steps aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
"Any solution not involving the countries of the region will not be lasting. The agreement reached between Washington and Tehran in Islamabad has brought a sigh of relief to the world," Erdoğan said in a press statement.
He added that "Turkey supports all steps that would reduce tensions and contribute to resolving the region's problems," noting that "Ankara is closely monitoring any attempts to disrupt the agreement."
“The necessity of not allowing the Israeli government to spread the stench of gunpowder and bloodshed in our region once again," Erdoğan highlighted.
