During a meeting with Lebanese Defense Minister Michel Mansour in Tehran, Iranian Acting Defense Minister Seyyed Majid Ibn Reza affirmed that supporting Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is a firm and principled policy for Iran.
He said: “Establishing security, stability and calm in Lebanon has always been one of Iran’s firm and strategic principles, and supporting Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is a firm and principled policy for Iran.”
He added: "This consistent approach towards Lebanon is being pursued seriously in light of the current sensitive circumstances."
