Judiciary: 19 Billion Dinars Recovered in a Financial Corruption Case

The Supreme Judicial Council announced on Tuesday the recovery of 19 billion dinars in a financial corruption case.

The Judicial Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "the investigative court specializing in integrity cases in Rusafa recovered 19 billion Iraqi dinars."

"The funds were recovered as part of investigations into a financial corruption case involving the manipulation of deposit slips belonging to Iraqi Airways," the statement added.
