U.S. President Donald Trump said on Monday that an upcoming meeting between the United States and Iran in the Qatari capital, Doha, could prove significant.
Reuters quoted Trump as saying, "The Doha meeting could be important, and we will know more later."
Trump added that Washington was making "very good progress" in efforts aimed at dismantling Iran's nuclear program.
Trump said talks would be held in Doha on Tuesday and that the U.S. team is preparing to leave for Qatar.
