Hezbollah says Israel launched multiple attacks in south
Hezbollah has accused the Israeli military of violating the ceasefire in Lebanon, alleging that Israeli forces carried out multiple attacks across southern parts of the country on Sunday.
In a statement, the group said Israeli fighter jets struck residential buildings in Nabatieh and Mayfadoun, while drone attacks targeted areas near Far’un and Bint Jbeil. Hezbollah also reported explosions affecting residential buildings in Taybeh and Hadatha.
"We are monitoring and observing these violations and reserve our right to defend our homeland and people," the group said.
The accusations come amid efforts to implement the US-Iran memorandum of understanding, which calls for an end to hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon, where Israeli military operations have continued in recent months.
