INA Sources: 47 Defendants, Including Officials, Have Been Arrested on Corruption Charges

High-ranking sources revealed on Sunday the arrest of 47 individuals, including members of parliament and officials, on corruption charges.

The sources told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "operations to pursue corrupt individuals are ongoing in Baghdad and the provinces."

"The operations resulted in the arrest of 47 individuals, including members of parliament and officials, on corruption charges," sources added.
