President Nizar Amedi received Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, head of the Iraqi Asas Coalition, on Saturday, where they reviewed the latest developments on the national scene and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation among political forces in support of political stability.

“The meeting focused on advancing political pathways that reinforce stability, support national priorities, and enhance the effectiveness of state institutions in serving citizens,” stated The Media Office of the Presidency of the Republic in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.

“Completing the ministerial cabinet and fulfilling national obligations remain essential to strengthening institutional performance and ensuring better service delivery to citizens,” President Amedi said, underscoring the importance of accelerating key political and governmental processes.

The discussions also touched on regional developments, with both sides reaffirming the importance of supporting efforts aimed at consolidating security and stability across the Middle East.

They stressed that dialogue and diplomatic engagement remain the most effective path for addressing crises and shared challenges, while strengthening cooperation and safeguarding the common interests of the peoples of the region.
