Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri warned on Saturday against sliding into strife, calling on the Lebanese people to exercise national awareness and deny any opportunity to those seeking to destabilize the country.
Berri stressed the importance of preserving national unity and rejecting all attempts to drag Lebanon into division or clashes, given the political and security challenges the country is facing.
He emphasized the necessity of prioritizing the national interest and working to thwart any attempts to incite strife, thereby contributing to the protection of civil peace and the preservation of Lebanon's stability.
