The Minister of Oil, Basim Muhammad Khudair, confirmed today, Friday, the provision of petroleum derivatives to visitors and service processions in the Holy Karbala Governorate, praising the efforts exerted by government and service entities to ensure the success of the Ashura pilgrimage.
During a press conference held in Holy Karbala, attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent, Khudair stated: "We extend our condolences to our beloved people, all nations of the world, the Supreme Religious Authority, our government, and all loyal individuals on the commemoration of Ashura, in which we remember the values of sacrifice and altruism—values we are in dire need of inspiring in our dedicated work."
He added that "all departments of the ministry are operating today in Holy Karbala to provide petroleum derivatives to all visitors and service processions. Great efforts have been made by dedicated staff who worked day and night to ensure the success of this pilgrimage," emphasizing that "the Ministry of Oil pledges to the Iraqi people to continue providing services, not limited to oil supply alone, but working to provide various services that achieve the comfort and satisfaction of citizens."
Khudair continued, "We commend the efforts of the local government in Holy Karbala for the significant and important work they have done in managing and organizing the pilgrimage," while expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi for his support and for fulfilling all petroleum derivative requirements.
The Minister of Oil stressed that "the ministry has numerous plans to elevate its performance in the field of providing petroleum derivatives."
