A United Nations-affiliated organization announced on Thursday that 57 vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz over a three-day period.
In a statement monitored by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the organization said that 57 ships sailed through the Strait of Hormuz between June 23 and 25 as part of an evacuation plan prepared by the organization.
The organization added that estimates indicate approximately 1,100 seafarers were on board the vessels that passed through the strategic waterway under the evacuation plan.
