Sabato reminds us that this war is "almost universally seen as a fiasco" in the US. Seventy percent of Americans are against the war, which is unprecedented. Sabato also offers a scathing assessment of Trump's ever-changing war strategy: "The president cannot stick to a script, and he cannot stick to a prearranged strategy". And so he warns that "it's going to be a long 60 days!"
