Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf affirmed on Sunday that Iran does not take seriously the American threats directed against it.
Ghalibaf stated, in remarks monitored by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We do not give any importance to the American threats, and if they were effective, they would not have reached the state of helplessness they are in."
"It is better for the Americans to be cautious in their statements, as our forces are prepared to respond to them in another way," he added.
"No matter how much the Americans talk, we are the ones who act and implement on the ground," he continued.
