US President Donald Trump announced on Monday that oil tankers have begun moving out of the Strait of Hormuz.
"Ships, many loaded with oil, have begun moving out of the Strait of Hormuz, using the 'southern passage,' which is completely safe and secure and in top condition," said Trump in a post on his Truth Social platform, followed up by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Trump added, "There are also other transit routes."
