Speaker of Parliament Haibat Al-Halbousi and head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar Al-Hakim, on Sunday underscored the importance of swiftly completing the ministerial cabinet.
According to a statement issued by the Speaker’s media office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Al-Halbousi met with Al-Hakim to discuss the latest political developments in the country.
The statement said the two sides emphasized the need to expedite the completion of the cabinet formation, while also discussing legislative priorities for the coming period.
They further stressed the importance of coordination between the legislative and executive branches and voiced support for the government’s efforts to implement its program.
