Axios reported on Thursday that the targets struck in the latest attacks included air defense systems and radar installations in southern Iran.
Citing a U.S. official, the news outlet said that "the targets that were attacked were located in southern Iran and included air defense systems, radars and drone-control units."
The official added that "the objective of the strikes is to pressure Tehran into signing an agreement, though they could lead to military escalation."
