U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday held a meeting in the White House Situation Room to discuss options for launching additional strikes on Iran.
Citing sources familiar with the matter, Axios reported that Trump convened the meeting to review potential military options against Iran.
According to the report, one option under consideration is a broad but limited-duration military operation aimed at increasing pressure on Iran to alter its position in ongoing negotiations.
