Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said on Wednesday it had expanded its response to US strikes on sites in southern Iran, claiming it had targeted the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain with drones, Jordan’s Azraq Air Base with long-range missiles, and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Iranian state media quoted the Revolutionary Guard as saying the operation was carried out in response to what it described as “US aggression”, warning that Tehran would respond “more forcefully” if American attacks continued.
