The Jordanian army announced on Wednesday that it had shot down five missiles fired from Iran, as Tehran and Washington traded attacks after a U.S. military helicopter was shot down.
A statement from the Jordanian Armed Forces said, "We intercepted and shot down five missiles launched from Iran towards the city of Azraq," adding that "the interception resulted in debris falling without any human casualties or material damage."
