Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Wednesday that Iran’s armed forces will not leave any attack or threat unanswered.
In a post on the social media platform Followed by The Iraqi News Agency-INA Araghchi said: “Despite its defeats on the battlefield, the United States opted to test our determination.”
“Our powerful armed forces will leave no attack or threat unanswered.”
“Leave our region if you want to be safe.”
He added that the history of the Persian Gulf “has many chapters on the dire fate of intruding outsiders.”
Araghchi also said that the Strait of Hormuz is not part of international waters but a shared waterway between Iran and Oman, adding that it lies far from U.S. shores and that maritime boundaries are “clear and unambiguous.”
