Alhalbousi, Al-Sudani emphasize the importance of supporting the government in implementing its program

​ The Speaker of Parliament, Haibet Alhalbousi, received On Tuesday, the Head of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition, Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani, and his accompanying delegation.

​“The meeting addressed the overall situation in the country and emphasized the importance of supporting the government in implementing its program and completing the cabinet,” Stated the Media Office of the Parliament Speaker in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.

​The statement added, “The meeting also stressed the importance of strengthening the oversight and legislative role of the Parliament, and accelerating the enactment of laws that affect citizens' lives and contribute to meeting their needs”.
