Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization on Sunday announced the closure of the western part of the country’s airspace until further notice.
The spokesman for the National Civil Aviation Organization Majid Akhavan said, “Due to safety and security assessments carried out, and the issuance of a NOTAM, the western part of the country’s airspace has been closed until further notice.”
He urged citizens to refrain from going to airports and to follow the latest flight updates through media channels.
