The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hezbollah) announced today, Sunday, that it intercepted an (Israeli) warplane over Nabatieh with a surface-to-air missile and targeted (Israeli) army camps in the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif.
In a statement, Hezbollah said: "In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the (Israeli) enemy's violation of the ceasefire and its incursion into Lebanese airspace, al-mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance intercepted an (Israeli) warplane over Nabatieh at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 7, 2026, with a surface-to-air missile."
In a second statement, he added: “In defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the enemy’s (Israeli) violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that targeted villages in southern Lebanon and resulted in the martyrdom of civilians and the injury of a number of civilians, al-mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted, at 16:00 on Sunday, 07-06-2026, three tents in which the enemy’s (Israeli) army soldiers were stationed on the southeastern outskirts of the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif with a squadron of high-quality attack drones.”
