Khadamat Alliance on Sunday announced its full support for measures taken by Prime Minister Ali Al-Zubaidi to conclude the mission of the international coalition forces in Iraq.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Alliance said it “fully supports the procedures undertaken by the Prime Minister to complete the process of ending the mission of the international coalition forces in Iraq, in line with the requirements of national sovereignty and the capacity of Iraqi security institutions to maintain security and stability.”
It added that this step “represents an important national entitlement reflecting the development and significant sacrifices of our security forces,” calling for continued work under a national vision that safeguards Iraq’s supreme interests and strengthens the independence of its decision-making and full sovereignty over its territory.
