The governor of Russia’s northwestern Leningrad region, Alexander Drozdenko, announced on Saturday that 25 Ukrainian drones targeting areas of the region had been shot down.
He noted that "an alert has been declared in St. Petersburg, the capital of the region, and Pulkovo Airport has been closed to flights," explaining that "Ukrainian drones recently attacked infrastructure sites in St. Petersburg, resulting in several injuries."
