Oil prices declined on Tuesday, following sharp gains in the previous session, as the market remains focused on whether progress is being made in peace talks between the United States and Iran.

Brent crude futures fell 86 cents, or 0.91%, to $94.12 a barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures dropped 97 cents, or 1.05%, to $91.19 a barrel.

Both benchmarks had jumped more than 5% in the previous session, after posting monthly losses of over 16% in May on hopes of a deal.
