Iraqi Airways announced on Monday the resumption of its direct flights between Iraq and Beirut.
Iraqi Airways said in a statement issued by the Ministry of Transport that direct services to the Lebanese capital have resumed following the completion of operational requirements and the receipt of official approvals from the relevant authorities.
The carrier said the move would ensure the smooth flow of air traffic between the two countries in accordance with the highest safety and security standards, reflecting its continued commitment to passenger safety.
Iraqi Airways added that passengers whose travel plans were disrupted on Monday due to the suspension of flights would be rebooked on services scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, under the same previously arranged flight details and timings, with no changes.
