The reporter for the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that Patriarch Mar Paulos III Nona officially assumed the presidency of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world in a religious and official ceremony.
He added that St. Joseph's Church in Baghdad witnessed the launch of the inauguration ceremonies for the new Patriarch of the Chaldean Church in Iraq and the world, amidst a festive atmosphere and special prayers for this occasion, as the position of Patriarch of the Chaldean Church is one of the most prominent Christian religious positions in Iraq.
