The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim, affirmed today, Monday, that completing the cabinet is a top priority at this stage.
A statement from the office of the head of the National State Forces Alliance, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: that “The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Sayyed Ammar Al-Hakim, received the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, and the meeting addressed a number of current political issues.”
During the meeting, Al-Hakim emphasized that “completing the cabinet is a top priority at this stage,” calling for “the continuation of political dialogues among the forces to appoint competent ministers capable of managing their institutions efficiently and effectively in light of the current changes.”
According to the statement, Al-Hakim stressed “the importance of a unified coordination framework,” considering it “one of the most prominent pillars of political stability,” while also emphasizing “the necessity of transforming the framework into an institutional one by activating specialized institutions and committees that will be responsible for distributing roles and tasks, contributing to decision-making, and unifying the discourse.”
Al-Hakim expressed his optimism that the ongoing negotiations between Iran and the United States would lead to an agreement that contributes to regional stability and positively impacts the stability of the world's countries."
