The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, along with a security delegation, arrived in Nineveh on Monday.
The Ministry of Defense stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, arrived at the Nineveh Operations Command at the head of a high-level military delegation,” indicating that “upon his arrival, he visited the Nineveh Provincial Council and met with the governor.”
According to the statement, the meeting addressed "the security situation and joint coordination to enhance stability in the province."
