Head of the Supreme Islamic Council Sheikh Hammam Hammoudi said on Saturday that the Coordination Framework is a red line and there is no room for alliances that threaten its unity and cohesion.

In a speech during The Dialogue Forum, Sheikh Hammoudi said that “there is no so-called ‘Forces Alliance,’ and whoever leaves the Framework is the loser,” stressing that “the Framework is a red line, and there is no place for alliances that threaten its unity and cohesion.”

He added that “any alliance outside the Framework is rejected, and the unity of the Framework takes precedence over short-term interests,” noting that “the completion of the ministerial cabinet must first pass through the consensus of the Framework forces.”

He continued that “we will not repeat the mistakes of the past, and media campaigns seeking to split the national ranks within the Framework must be deterred,” affirming that “the unity of the Framework is a national priority, and any move outside it lacks political realism.”

He pointed out that “the Council of Representatives bears full responsibility for monitoring the government’s performance and course during the current phase.”
