Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jatten affirmed on Friday his country's commitment to continuing and strengthening close cooperation with Iraq across various fields.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi received a congratulatory message from the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Rob Jatten, on the occasion of his gaining the confidence of the Council of Representatives as Prime Minister and forming the new government."
Jatten expressed his "best wishes to al-Zaidi for success in his important mission during this crucial period, and his country's readiness to work with his government as a reliable partner, supporting efforts aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of the Iraqi people and enhancing the security and stability of the region." He emphasized his country's commitment to "continuing and strengthening close cooperation with Iraq in various fields, in a way that achieves the common interests of the two friendly nations."
