Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Yemeni Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Shaya Mohsen Al-Zindani offered their congratulations on Monday to Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein on the renewal of confidence in him as Foreign Minister in the new government, while praising the diplomatic role of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry.
A statement from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), indicated that "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a congratulatory message from Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the occasion of his reappointment as Foreign Minister in the new government."
The Turkish Foreign Minister reiterated the importance of continued communication and consultation between the two sides in the coming period.
On a related note, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein received a congratulatory message from the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen, Shaya Mohsen al-Zindani, on the occasion of his reappointment as Foreign Minister in the new Iraqi government.
In his message, Shaya al-Zindani expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Fuad Hussein for success in his duties, affirming his confidence in Hussein's ability to continue strengthening Iraq's diplomatic role and consolidating its active presence at both the regional and international levels.
He praised the fraternal relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Yemen, expressing his country's keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly nations in various fields, in a way that serves their common interests and promotes security and stability in the region.
