Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received today, Sunday, a phone call from the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, who extended his congratulations on the occasion of his government gaining the confidence of the Council of Representatives and the formation of the new government.
“During the call, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
The statement added ,"Both sides emphasized the importance of expanding avenues of constructive cooperation across various sectors and agreed to exchange visits in a manner that further strengthens bilateral relations, serves mutual interests, and advances the interests of the two brotherly peoples".
