Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi congratulated Al-Sabah newspaper on its 23rd anniversary on Sunday, commending its staff's efforts in conveying the truth and shaping national awareness.
In his congratulatory message, Al-Zaydi said: "On the occasion of the twenty-third anniversary of the founding of the esteemed Al-Sabah newspaper, we extend our warmest congratulations to all its employees, appreciating their efforts in fulfilling their media mission of conveying the truth and shaping national awareness."
He added, "At the same time, we affirm the government's support for responsible and professional media discourse in service of our beloved Iraq."
